My intro

Hello, my name is Jesse. This is my second semester here at Chabot College. However, I do have prior college experience about eighteen years ago and have stepped back into college life to complete my degree in Psychology focusing on counseling. Last semester I took Intro to Psych, Intro to Health, and music. This semester I'm taking my first college level English and Sociology. I am a Veteran who mostly served state side, but also served in Kuwait during the Desert Storm Era. As a result, I suffer from PTSD, anxiety, depression, memory, and other problems. I take one day at a time as I am learning how to cope with daily challenges and stresses. The same affect for college life, I found holding on to my biblical foundation and family support has helped a lot. I am a father of two children a twelve year old and a two year old. Between church, family, and now school my schedule is pretty busy. I am an only child by blood but, I have an older brother, younger brother, and two younger sisters. I love nature and also love to relax with a movie or video game, depending on my mood. I enjoy going to different places and seeing new things. My newest hobby is photography which I'm finding is very relaxing but, is sometimes hard to get that perfect shot.
